CUFCA SPF CERTIFIED INSTALLER CODE OF CONDUCT

Overview

This Code of Conduct  deals specifically with the Certification Obligations of our CUFCA Certified Installers. By reading and acknowledging this code, as a Certified Installer you are in agreement with them and will ensure their compliance with your day to day activities and delivery of faithful service to your Customers.

As a CUFCA Certified Installer, I agree that my failure to meet any of these listed obligations may result in demerit points issued, or suspension or withdrawal of my certification with CUFCA.

Code of Conduct

  1.  Comply with all regulations and processes set forth by CUFCA  (i.e. surveillance, inspection, and ISO required re-certification activities).

  2. Install the product according to the CAN/ULC S705.2 application standard and any other application standard or specification as required.

  3. Conduct the required daily on-site testing of Adhesion, Co-hesion, and core density with approved test kit as outlined in the applicable standard.

  4. Complete the required daily documentation. Daily Work Sheets  (DWR's)are required at every job, every chemical lot change, and every 8-hour of continued spray per day due to changes in environmental conditions. Documentation will be made available to Customers, AHJ's and our Certification Organization (CO) on a timely basis.

  5. Affix the mandatory job site label with details filled out completely.

  6. Use the required PPE safety equipment including positive fresh air supplied full face respirator as outlined in the applicable standard of installation referenced in our National Building Code.

  7. Adhere to all local and provincial regulations.

  8. Conduct oneself in a professional manner and work safe at all times.

  9. Advise the Site Supervisor, Homeowner, or General Contractor of any potential problems or limitations with the installation of the spray polyurethane foam material due to known environmental or jobsite issues.
  10. Provide all information requested to the CUFCA Certified Inspector or Field Auditor during site visits or 5-year recertification examinations.
  11. Approve CUFCA to provide certification status to interested persons including public listing of details (including photograph) on a publicly accessible website
  12. To only install spray polyurethane foam material which meets the appropriate standard or has received a Canadian Construction Material Center (CCMC) Evaluation or Listing Report or an Evaluation Report from an accredited body (ULC).
