CUFCA SPF INSTALLER TRAINING

For over 40 years, CUFCA has been a leader in training our SPF Industries best sprayers.  Our training programs have been designed to prepare the Installer for work in the SPF Field.  Our course outline is contained here and we encourage you to read through.  As always and with any training in a field that requires knowledge, skills, and ability. (KSA's) It is to be expected that practice will be required to fully develop your abilities.  Our course is as comprehensive as it can be given our limited schedule.

While no prior industry experience is required in order to enroll in our course, it would be advantageous to have been an apprentice in the sector with an experienced sprayer.

Prior to enrollment in our training program, you are able to book a training center "gun practice session" at our in house Training Center in Mississauga, ON.  While this option is likely only of interest to local Ontario or GTA applicants, you can book a one on one training session with one of our Inspectors. You will be shown machine operation, gun use, spray application techniques and be able to spray under supervision using our spray equipment, foam system from our SPF manufacturer Partners for a $100.00/hr fee with a three hour minimum session. This is an exceptional value given all foam is supplied, along with the PPE use and access to our Industry leading PMC Equipment.

In the CUFCA SPF Training Course, you will learn:

CAN/ULC Standards

Canadian Building Codes

Health & Safety

Equipment Requirements

Chemistry of Spray Foam

Storage & Maintenance

Material Selection

Jobsite Preparation

Foam Site Testing Process

Field Quality Assurance

Contract Management

Online Daily Work Records

RADON CONTROL SYSTEM Certification
