CUFCA Expands SQAP Program into the European Union in Strategic Partnership with SilverFoam

The Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association (CUFCA) today announced the expansion of its Spray Foam Site Quality Assurance Program (SQAP) into the European Union, marking a significant milestone in advancing global standards for spray polyurethane foam installation. This initiative is being launched in collaboration with SilverFoam, a leading innovator in sustainable insulation technologies in Poland.

The SQAP program, originally established in Canada, is recognized for its rigorous training, certification, and compliance protocols that ensure the highest levels of safety, performance, and environmental responsibility in spray foam applications. By extending the program into the EU, CUFCA and SilverFoam aim to harmonize quality assurance practices across borders, supporting the region’s ambitious energy efficiency and climate goals.

CUFCA is pleased as always to be working with our valued Building Officials in Ontario again at their OBOA AMTS in London Ontario this year.

Since 2010, CUFCA has represented the CUFCA membership with AHJ's. We have educated AHJ's in code compliance requirements, CAN/ULC Standards and also clarified issues of R-Value and Thermal Barriers.

CUFCA is pleased to announce that its downsizing is complete. We have moved from 3200 Wharton Way to 3202 Wharton Way. Changing economics and facility costs in the GTA have given us reason to tighten up the ship and reduce our footprint. We are pleased with the new space and our new course facility is going to work well for our stakeholders.
